The walkable-communities advocate toured Orange Beach and Fairhope, and joined a St. Patrick's Day walk to school.

Dan Burden visited Lower Alabama this past week
- He visited Fairhope March 2 to assess the restriping process that the town has embraced and help answer any questions the town might have regarding Complete Streets implementation.
Smart Coast St. Patrick’s Day Walk to School
- Dan Burden, a walkable communities advocate, also attended. He was pleased to see so many children, parents, teachers, and citizens walking to school.
- Smart Coast coordinates monthly Smart Walks to School that take place on the first Friday of the month. Anyone can attend, all are welcome! Check this website or the Facebook page for the theme of the next walk. Then meet us at the Fairhope library at 7:15 and join the fun.
