Earth Day at the Fairhope Pier

Earth Day-Fairhope Pier

Fairhope held its annual Earth Day at the Pier. The weather forecast changed time and again, but it did not rain and even though the morning temps started off somewhat low, they steadily climbed and much fun and entertainment was held by one and all.
Smart Coast had a booth, manned by the nonprofit's two program directors and a host of local volunteers. Thanks to all who arrived to lend a hand.
Giselle, the Smart Coast giraffe, had a wonderfully time as well. She strained her neck to see all that was happening. and watched many youngsters play a bean bag toss game that Rich Caldwell created.
